The Arabic Union Catalog (AUC) held on Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 a training course on maintenance of the authority file for personal names via the Internet to the Sudanese National Library.

The training course treated with the AUC authority portal for personal names, and how users can use its indexes and interfaces. The training course presented a detailed explanation to authority tags and their updates with practical examples.

There was a large space of responding to queries about the nature of the authority file of personal names, their privacy, and some tags and their uses.

The attendees paid a great attention to this training course presented by the coordinator of AUC members, Mr. Mustafa Ragab. The attendees expressed that they entirely benefited.
