In the context of the comprehensive cultural renaissance under the reign of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, the National Library of Essa Cultural Center, the University of Bahrain Library and the Gulf University Library have led to an innovative and well-developed knowledge and development. This knowledge movement was crowned with the establishment of the Bahrain Library Portal, which is the national index of Bahrain, which includes indexes of all Bahraini libraries in cooperation with the Unified Arab Index. And our vision for this portal to be a comprehensive index of all holdings of Bahraini libraries to meet the needs of researchers and scholars in the Kingdom and abroad. The portal provides advanced search and query mechanisms in the library collections of Bahrain libraries and their location or specific library holdings. This portal will help facilitate the access of researchers to the treasures of knowledge acquired by Bahraini libraries. This portal supports efforts at the state level to build a knowledge society in the Kingdom of Bahrain where all aspects of development, economy, education and culture depend on knowledge and scientific research. We are pleased with this achievement and invite all Bahraini libraries of all forms and types to join this portal and provide services through it.
