From September 16 to September 18, 2019, the Arabic Union Catalog conducted a specialized training course titled "Introduction to RDA Cataloging Rules and MARC 21 Standard for Printed Materials." The study was conducted in collaboration with Alexandria University.

Attendees from various Egyptian libraries and information centers participated in the course. We are continuing our constructive cooperation with Arab knowledge institutions through this course. The project aims to enhance librarian competencies and empower Arab libraries to transition to modern cataloging standards. Information organization is also kept up-to-date with global developments.
