The Arabic Union Catalog (AUC) participated in the 28th Conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI) held in Cairo, Egypt, from Nov. 27 to Nov. 29, 2017. The AUC participation was represented in holding an exhibition on the sidelines of this conference.

The exhibition was witnessed huge visits from participants as well as vast distribution to the latest AUC publications, pamphlets regarding the AUC additional services, and booklet of the AUC training program for the year of 2018. On the sidelines of the AFLI conference, the AUC held a training course, from Nov. 25 to Nov. 26, 2017, on cataloging the non-printed materials according to RDA rules and MARC 21 format.

The training course was attended by representatives of the AUC members.
