The Arabic Union Catalog (AUC) participated in the 23rd Conference of the SLA, AGC.

The conference came this year with theme of "The quality of training and rehabilitation programs in libraries and information centers: The road map towards the professional and academic accreditation".

The AUC participation marked by excellence and positiveness. Whereas, the AUC participated in the exhibition, held on the sidelines of the conference, by a presentation unit which apparently enriched the attendees' visits to the AUC booth. Among the AUC participation in the 23rd Conference of the SLA, AGC, Dr. Saleh Almusned, Director of the AUC Center, presented an important research paper in the name of the AUC, entitled
"The AUC participation in supporting quality: The quality of the bibliographic control of the AUC member libraries". Dr. Almusned showed in this paper the stages of quality of controlling the bibliographic records at
different levels: on the level of description, and on the level of authority and error analysis come in a random sample of bibliographic records processed by the member libraries and uploaded on the AUC database.
