The Arabic Union Catalog is committed to maintaining open lines of communication with its members libraries. To that end, the catalog provides ongoing support to help libraries make the most of its features. For example, Mohamed Abou-Qerah University - Boumerdes recently employ of an online training course designed to help them fully utilize the catalog's capabilities. By offering such resources, the Arabic Union Catalog is assisting libraries in increasing their efficiency and effectiveness.

Staff from all library departments attended the course on Tuesday, May 19, 2015.

The course covered the Arabic Union Catalog portal and its new search tools and capabilities during the presentation. It was informative and helpful to have a detailed explanation of all the AUC services and how to interact with the Arabic Union Catalog. The second part of the course was just as beneficial, as it covered search and download capabilities and original cataloging. Attendees were given clear instructions on effectively using each feature, and the instructor even provided examples in response to all inquiries.
