From January 24th to 27th, 2018, the Arabic Union Catalog (AUC) attended the International Forum on Public Libraries and Change Management in Tunisia. AUC conducted a workshop on describing printed materials using RDA rules and MARC 21 standards as part of the forum. January 22nd, 2018 and January 23rd, 2018, were the workshop dates.

Moreover, the AUC had a scientific presentation during the conference titled "Efficient Access to Information for Successful Sustainable Development: The Experience of the Arabic Union Catalog as a Model." Additionally, two workshops were held, the first titled "The Arabic Union Catalog in Its New Phase: The Optimal Partner for Libraries" and the second titled "What's New in the Arabic Union Catalog."

In Tunisia, the AUC also visited several major Arab institutions. To improve library services in Tunisia, it signed a cooperation agreement with the "Association of Library and Book Lovers in Ben Arous."

As a result of these partnerships, the Arabic Union Catalog aims to develop cooperation with various representatives of the cultural and library sectors in all Arab countries.
